About The British Shop
|
It is the vision and personal involvement of the company's two owners that drives The British Shop's reputation for outstanding care, quality and efficiency in the handling of fine art and antiquities.
The British Shop is owned and managed by Simon Williams and Malcolm Disson, who purchased the company in 2004. Their combined talents and strengths have seen the company go from strength to strength over the last five years.

Simon has experience in antiques and fine art, as well as the shipping industry. Simon trained in valuation and business practices, receiving a BA from Southampton University whilst working with several leading UK auction houses helping to organise specialist sales. He subsequently worked for two of London's leading fine art shipping companies.
Malcolm Disson
Malcolm has over 15 years experience in shipping fine art and has managed numerous large specialist installation projects, from hotels and cruise ships to large country estates.
"Our Company philosophy is service sells" Says Simon "we pride ourselves in giving clients a personal service tailored to there individual requirements. As a company we do very little advertising and the majority of our new work comes through recommendation."
"Our clients are busy people and they expect us to get it right every time" continues Malcolm. "Overseeing our three different locations can certainly be hectic, but don't be surprised to see either Simon or myself out on one of the trucks in order to get a shipment delivered on time! From road crews to office based logistic support staff, we are all committed to providing a first class service."
